Rescue. Restore. Reclaim.
Every program at Sharon's Heart is built around one conviction: every child deserves to be seen, loved, protected, and given the opportunity to heal and move forward with hope and purpose.
How We Serve
Our three-pillar approach addresses the full journey of a vulnerable child — from the moment of crisis through long-term healing and growth. We don't just meet immediate needs; we walk alongside children and families for the long haul.
Moving children from danger to safety
Rescue
We identify and reach vulnerable children who are homeless, neglected, abused, trafficked, overlooked, or living in unsafe environments. Rescue is the first step — helping move a child from immediate danger or instability into a place of safety, care, protection, and support.
- Outreach to children living on the streets or in unsafe homes
- Crisis intervention and emergency placement support
- Coordination with local agencies and community partners
- Immediate physical needs: food, shelter, clothing, safety
Walking with children through healing
Restore
Through trauma-informed care, faith-based support, mentoring, education, emotional support, life skills, and consistent relationships, we help children begin the deeper work of healing and restoration. Restoration takes time, trust, stability, and people who are willing to walk with a child through the process.
- Trauma-informed care and emotional support
- Faith-based mentoring and discipleship
- Educational support and tutoring
- Life skills development and healthy relationship building
Helping children discover their purpose
Reclaim
We walk alongside children as we help them reclaim their future through education, life skills, spiritual growth, healthy relationships, and continued support. Reclaiming means helping children recognize their value, discover their God-given potential, and move forward with purpose beyond the circumstances they came from.
- Higher education and vocational training pathways
- Spiritual growth and identity formation
- Career readiness and independent living skills
- Long-term mentorship and community connection
Faith-Based. Trauma-Informed. Long-Term.
Whole-Child Focus
We address physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs — because healing requires more than meeting one need at a time.
Consistent Relationships
We believe lasting change happens in the context of safe, consistent, and caring relationships. We commit to showing up for every child.
Faith as Foundation
Our work is rooted in the belief that every child is created with purpose and that God's love is the foundation of true healing and restoration.
Long-Term Commitment
We don't just respond to crises. We walk with children through every stage of their journey — from rescue through reclaiming their future.
Support Our Programs
Your generosity makes it possible for us to reach more children, provide more support, and walk with more families through the journey of healing and restoration.
